Herb Flank Steak
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of beef flank or round steak
 - 2 tbsp lemon juice
 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
 - 1/2 tsp sea salt
 - 1/2 tsp celery seed
 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
 - 1/2 tsp pepper
 - 1 to 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
 
Directions
- Make cuts about 1/2 inch apart and 1/4 inch deep in a diamond pattern on both sides. (This helps tenderize the beef).
 - Mix remaining ingredients, and rub into beef.
 - Can refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
 - Set oven control to broil.
 - Line the pan with aluminum foil and place the beef on the rack in a broiler pan.
 - Broil beef with top 2 to 3 inches from heat for about 5 minutes or until brown.
 - Turn, and broil about 5 minutes longer. Or you can fry in a skillet to your taste.
