Rice Milk



  • 1/4 cup brown rice
  • 1 1/4 quarts of purified water
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tbsp light olive oil or MCT oil



  • Bring the rice and water to a boil; then simmer for 45 mins.
  • Strain the rice, saving the liquid.
  • Add back 1/4 cup of the liquid to the rice in a blender.
  • Add the salt, honey, and oil.
  • Blend on high.
  • Add the rest of the fluid and blend. You can make it as thick or thin by the amount of the fluid you choose to add.
  • Chill and shake before using.
