The organizations are joining forces to promote pancreatic cancer awareness, fund research, and send a message of hope to patients and families fighting to beat the odds.
The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (NPCF) has announced its joint partnership with Tree of Life Seeds, an Arkansas-based hemp genetics and premium CBD product manufacturer, in their battle against the disease. The entities have joined forces to raise awareness and money to support the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation’s mission to fund research, patient advocacy, educational awareness, and direct financial assistance to those in need.
Pancreatic cancer is often associated with a poor prognosis. The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation’s goal is to improve the survival rate as well make the diagnosis and its aftermath easier for patients and families fighting pancreatic cancer.
“Cannabis and hemp can provide great complimentary care products for patients with pancreatic cancer,” says Kimberly Stoll-French, Chapter Development Director of the Foundation. “People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are often experience pain, have trouble sleeping, suffer with nausea and trouble keeping certain foods down, and we encourage patients to try any possible therapy available to them that may help alleviate their suffering and aid in improving their overall wellness.” In addition, the foundation focuses their research efforts toward obtaining a balance between traditional and integrative, alternative, and complimentary therapies.
Searching for high-quality, THC-free hemp-based CBD products to recommend to patients, they found Tree of Life Seeds, and after speaking with COO Brian Madar and sampling some products, were impressed with the company’s dedication to quality control, a wide range of products aimed at alleviating patients needs in a natural way, and the company’s compassion for those who are suffering.
After further discussion, both companies saw an opportunity to make a positive impact by raising awareness for importance of early detection, promote relief and hope in the lives of patients and loved ones, and a chance to raise funds to support the Foundation via the Tree of Life Seeds affiliate program.
