National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation
Lucianna McDaniel is a National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation Brand Ambassador, youth advocate, and the reigning Miss Davidson County’s Teen 2026 from Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Through her community service initiative, The Purple Purpose, she educates families about the importance of genetic testing for pancreatic cancer and encourages conversations that can save lives.
Her passion for advocacy began long before she stepped onto the pageant stage. Before Lucianna was born, her mother was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis during pregnancy. Thanks to the support and knowledge gained through an online community, her family found critical information that changed their lives.
That experience inspired Lucianna to dedicate her platform to raising awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting those affected by pancreatic diseases.
Lucianna grew up understanding the challenges pancreatic disease can bring to families.
Her mother was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis while pregnant with Lucianna. Awareness and support made all the difference.
Lucianna created The Purple Purpose to educate others about genetic testing and pancreatic cancer.
