Phase IV Study of the Safety and Efficacy of Everolimus in Adult Patients With Progressive pNET in China

To evaluate safety and efficacy of everolimus (Afinitor®) in Chinese adult patients with local advanced or metastatic, well differentiated progressive pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.

The PIONEER Initiative: Precision Insights On N-of-1 Ex Vivo Effectiveness Research Based on Individual Tumor Ownership (Precision Oncology)

The PIONEER Initiative stands for Precision Insights On N-of-1 Ex vivo Effectiveness Research. The PIONEER Initiative is designed to provide access to functional precision medicine to any cancer patient with any tumor at any medical facility. Tumor tissue is saved at time of biopsy or surgery in multiple formats, including fresh and cryopreserved as a living biospecimen. SpeciCare assists with access to clinical records in order to provide information back to the patient and the patient's clinical care team. The biospecimen tumor tissue is stored in a bio-storage facility and can be shipped anywhere the patient and the clinical team require for further testing. Additionally, the cryopreservation of the biospecimen allows for decisions about testing to be made at a later date. It also facilitates participation in clinical trials. The ability to return research information from this repository back to the patient is the primary end point of the study. The secondary end point is the subjective assessment by the patient and his or her physician as to the potential benefit that this additional information provides over standard of care. Overall the goal of PIONEER is to enable best in class functional precision testing of a patient's tumor tissue to help guide optimal therapy (to date this type of analysis includes organoid drug screening approaches in addition to traditional genomic profiling).

Study of XB002 in Subjects With Solid Tumors (JEWEL-101)

This is a Phase 1, open-label, multicenter, dose-escalation and expansion study evaluating the safety, tolerability, PK, pharmacodynamics, and clinical antitumor activity of XB002 administered IV q3w alone and in combination with nivolumab or bevacizumab to subjects with advanced solid tumors.

Dose-Esc/Exp RMC4630 & Cobi in Relapsed/Refractory Solid Tumors & RMC4630& Osi in EGFR+ Locally Adv/Meta NSCLC

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK), and pharmacodynamic (PD) profiles of RMC-4630 and cobimetinib in adult participants with relapsed/refractory solid tumors with specific genomic aberrations and to identify the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D); and to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK), and pharmacodynamic (PD) profiles of RMC-4630 and osimertinib in adult participants with EGFR mutation-positive locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC.

Trial of First-line L-glutamine With Gemcitabine and Nab-paclitaxel in Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

This study will enroll a total of 16 patients with advanced pancreatic cancer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. All subjects will receive combination therapy of gemcitabine, nab-paclitaxel, and L-glutamine. The study investigates what the appropriate dosage of L-glutamine is so that there is the lowest risk of side effects, and whether the supplement will make standard chemotherapy of gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel more effective in treating advanced pancreatic cancer.

Collecting Medical Information and Tissue Samples From Patients With Pancreatic Cancer or Other Pancreatic Disorders

RATIONALE: Gathering medical information and collecting and storing samples of blood and tissue to test in the laboratory may help doctors develop better ways to screen people at risk for pancreatic cancer or other pancreatic disorders in the future.

PURPOSE: This clinical trial is collecting medical information and tissue samples from patients with pancreatic cancer or other pancreatic disorders.

Efficacy of Chemopreventive Agents on Disease-free and Overall Survival in Patients With Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma: The CAOS Study

The evidence on the value of aspirin, statins, metformin, beta-blocking ACE inhibitors agents as chemopreventive agents in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is limited.

The aim of this study is to assess whether regular use of aspirin, statins, metformin, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE)-inhibitors and beta-blocking agents use, before diagnosis, after surgery and in neo-adjuvant treatment setting, can increase rate of disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) in participants with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The secondary aim is to evaluate if there is any difference in terms of &#x0022chemoprevention&#x0022 between aspirin, statins, metformin and beta-blocking as chemopreventive agents, and if their prolonged daily use can positively influence the chemopreventive action.

400 patients with the following inclusion criteria will be enrolled in 3 years:

1. cytological or histological diagnosis of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in any portion of the gland, with or without metastases in other sites
2. patient age between 18 and 90 years
3. any medicine or drug in the daily patient therapy
4. Patients undergone to primary chemoradiotherapy or surgical resection, followed by adjuvant therapy or preceded by neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, are included in the study Anamnestic, clinical and pathological data, included data on the aspirin, statins, metformin, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE)-inhibitors and beta-blocking agents assumption will be collected during the first visit with the surgeon. A database managed by a dedicated data manager will be created to collect and analyse data.

Patients will be followed for at least 24 months The study will last overall 5 years.

BBR 3464 in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer That Cannot be Treated With Surgery

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die.

PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of BBR 3464 in treating patients who have locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer that cannot be treated with surgery.

Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Cancer of the Pancreas or Bile Duct

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more tumor cells.

PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combining gemcitabine, leucovorin, and fluorouracil in treating patients who have locally advanced or metastatic cancer of the pancreas or bile duct.
