The purpose of this study is to determine whether duct-to-mucosa is better than invagination in pancreaticojejunostomy after pancreaticoduodenectomy. This single-centre, open, randomized controlled trail is conducted following ISGPF criteria for pancreatic fistula (PF). The duration of the study is supposed to start from Jan 5th 2012 and last to Dec 2014, until 100 or more cases are accessible. Patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, peri-ampullar carcinoma or other benign or malignant diseases which need to operate pancreaticoduodenectomy will be included. Main outcomes are pancreatic fistula rate, mortality, morbidity, reoperation and hospital stay. The investigators assumption that duct-to-mucosa is better than invagination.
This is a phase 1b multi-center, open-label study of HMBD-001 with or without chemotherapy in participants with advanced solid tumors harboring NRG1 gene fusions or selected HER3 mutations.
Background:
On the surface of every healthy cellular membrane resides a layer known as the glycocalyx. This structure consists of extracellular domains of receptor, adhesion and transmembrane molecules such as syndecan-1 covalently bound to highly negatively charged glycosaminoglycans, heparan sulfates. It has a principal role to maintain wall integrity, avoid inflammation and tissue oedema in vessels but in contrast, glycocalyx is robust and elevated on cancer cells. This study examines whether the endothelial glycocalyx layer is preserved in patients undergoing pancreatectomy with human albumin 5% vs. gelofusine in a restrictive goal directed fluid regime perioperatively for the first 24hours. Degradation of glycocalyx will be investigated by analyzing basic levels of the core protein syndecan-1 and heparan sulfates with post-operative samples.
Participants who are experiencing abdominal pain due to having cancer in their pancreas may be eligible for this research study. For this type of pain, doctors often recommend radiation therapy to help with the pain. This radiation therapy is called stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Preparing for SBRT typically takes a week or longer. In this research study, doctors want to test a new workflow in order to shorten the time it takes for participants to receive SBRT to help with their pain.
Doctors typically determine how to administer the SBRT by doing a simulation, which requires a CT (Computerized Tomography) scan. The CT scan is used to create a treatment plan. It can take time to schedule this CT scan and then it takes 5-10 days to create a treatment plan. A way to reduce the planning time for SBRT is to use the CT scan that participants had when their cancer was diagnosed to plan the SBRT. This new workflow can cut down the time it takes to schedule another CT scan and plan for and deliver SBRT. The workflow where doctors use a pre-existing CT scan is called CTsim-free treatment planning. CTsim-free treatment planning is what is being tested in this research study.
This single arm study will assess the efficacy and safety of Tarceva + gemcitabine in patients with locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic pancreatic cancer. Patients will receive Tarceva 100mg po daily, in combination with gemcitabine 1000mg/m2 iv weekly for 8 weeks, followed by weekly for 3 weeks of each 4 week cycle. The anticipated time on study treatment is until disease progression, and the target sample size is <100 individuals.
A Phase II Randomized Study.Primary objective:to investigate the 6-month progression-free survival (PFS) rate i patients receiving SLOG or mFLFIRINOX as a first-line treatment for locally advanced and metastatic pancreatic cancer.
This randomized phase II is studying how well giving sorafenib with or without gemcitabine works in treating patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. Sorafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving sorafenib together with gemcitabine may kill more tumor cells.
This is a Phase 3, randomized, double-blind clinical trial aimed at evaluating the efficacy and safety of Ivonescimab plus chemotherapy with or without AK117 versus placebo plus chemotherapy in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The study seeks to determine whether the addition of Ivonescimab and/or AK117 improves clinical outcomes compared to standard chemotherapy alone. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either Ivonescimab with/without AK117 or placebo, both in combination with chemotherapy.

Phase 1b/2 study to assess the safety and efficacy of mitazalimab in combination with chemotherapy in patients with metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
