PATAKESS Protocol : Clinical and Biological Analysis of Exocrine Pancreatic Tumors

PATAKESS is a monocentric non interventional cohort study (prospective (alive patients) and retrospective (dead patients with biological material from surgery and/or biopsies already collected)).

PATAKESS consists of clinical and biological analyses of exocrine pancreatic tumors. Data are derived from tumor samples taken for routine health care purposes in patients managed at Centre Léon Bérard (Lyon-France) since January 2010. The main objective is to determine correlation between biological and clinical characterizations of patients suffering from exocrine pancreatic tumor.

Phase I Study of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for Patients With Borderline Resectable Pancreatic Cancer.

Gemcitabine plus nub-paclitaxel (GEMABR) regimen was recently presented at an international oncology meeting and represents a new standard regimen in the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer. Therefore, it was decided to consider the balance of safety and efficacy as a preoperative chemotherapy, the investigators use the NAC-GEMABR regimen includes only two cycles (three times weekly and one week rest) of GEMABR regimen.

Study of Talimogene Laherparepvec (T-VEC) in Pancreatic Cancer

The purpose of this study is to find out which doses of talimogene laherparepvec (T-Vec) can be given safely to participants with pancreatic cancer that is either too big to be taken out by surgery or has spread to other parts of the body. The study will also see if T-Vec can cause tumor shrinkage or prevent its growth.

The primary objective is to determine the rate of dose limiting toxicity at tested doses of talimogene laherparepvec administered endoscopically to pancreatic tumors, and to identify a maximum tolerated dose (MTD).

Secondary exploratory efficacy endpoints include change in longest diameter in the injected lesion(s), overall response rate (ORR) per RECIST v1.1 and modified immune-related response criteria (mirRC as defined in section 11), progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) at 6, 12, and 24 months.

The FIBROPANC-1 investigates the feasibility and safety of preoperative stereotactic radiotherapy of 4cm pancreas in patients undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy at high risk (>25%) of developing post operative pancreatic fistula (POPF). A single course of 12Gy preoperative radiotherapy may lead to sufficient fibrosis in a small (4cm) targeted area, thereby reducing the risk of grade B and C POPF.

ARTEMIS: Study of Patients With Early Stage Pancreatic Cancer Who Have Undergone Genetic Testing

This study includes participants with pancreatic cancer who are undergoing genetic testing at Invitae related to their diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Our goal in this study is two-fold. First, we would like to research whether any inherited changes in genes may be associated with pancreatic cancer. Second, we would like to learn more about patient experiences with genetic testing, such as patient understanding of the testing, health-related actions taken (or planned to take) as a result of testing, communication and action of family members based on test results, and psychological impact of testing.

This research study involves allowing collection of tumor tissue (from a prior biopsy and/or surgery), a blood sample, and sending surveys to participants for their opinion on the impact of the genetic testing as well as clinicians for relevant baseline and medical history information.
