Eribulin Mesylate as Second-Line Therapy for Locally Advanced, Unresectable, or Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer Patients

This phase II trial is studying how well E7389 works as second-line therapy in treating patients with locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic pancreatic cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as eribulin mesylate, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing.

Phase II Trial of Erlotinib in Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

This is an open-label, multi-center phase II study of erlotinib in patients with metastatic or locally advanced, unresectable pancreatic cancer who have received up to one line of gemcitabine based chemotherapy.

In This Study, a Retrospective Analysis Was Conducted to Explore the Risk Factors for Patients Undergoing Pancreaticoduodenal Surgery (PD) to Achieve TO, and a Nomogram Prediction Model Was Further Established to Promote the Standardization and Standardization of PD Surgical Quality Evaluation.

This study is committed TO exploring the risk factors affecting patients receiving pancreaticoduodenal surgery (PD) to achieve TO by retrospective analysis of clinical data of patients receiving PD surgery in Changzhou Second People Hospital from January 2016 to December 2024, and further establishing a nomogram prediction model. In order to promote the standardization and standardization of PD surgical quality assessment.

Fecal Microbial Transplants for the Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer

This early phase I trial examines the safety and effects of fecal microbial transplants in treating patients with pancreatic cancer. scheduled for surgery to remove tumors. Fecal microbial transplant contains the normal microbes found in fecal (stool) material. Giving fecal microbial transplant may help control the disease.

Collecting Solid Tumor Tissue to Identify New Treatments

Background:

The NCI Surgery Branch has developed experimental therapies that involve taking white blood cells from patients' tumor or from their blood, growing them in the laboratory in large numbers, and then giving the cells back to the patient.

Objective:

This study will allow tissue samples obtained during the protocol screening process to be used for future and ongoing research in the NCI Surgery Branch

Eligibility:

Patients must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for an NCI surgery Branch Treatment Protocol

Design

Patients will undergo testing and evaluations as required by the appropriate NCI Surgery Branch Treatment protocol

Bortezomib With or Without Gemcitabine in Treating Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Randomized phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of bortezomib with or without gemcitabine in treating patients who have metastatic pancreatic cancer. Bortezomib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for tumor cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining bortezomib with gemcitabine may kill more tumor cells.

The Role of the Human Microbiome in Patients After Pancreatic Resection.

The goal of this observational study is to classify patients that undergo pancreatic resection for presumed pancreatic or periampullary malignancy into high and low risk groups for postoperative complications based on longitudinal saliva, rectal/faecal, tumor, blood and/or bile microbiome profiles.

To identify the dynamics of the microbiome, as well as the possibly related short-term and long-term complications, multiple samples at different timepoints are needed from the patients.

A Study of Fluzoparib in Combination With mFOLFIRINOX in Patients With Resectable Pancreatic Cancer

The study is being conducted to: a) evaluate the tolerability and safety of the co-administration of Fluzoparib and FOLFIRINOX in patients with resectable pancreatic cancer, and establish a maximum tolerated dose and recommended phase II dose of the combination and b) assess the efficacy of the co-administration of Fluzoparib and FOLFIRINOX in patients with resectable pancreatic cancer.

Preoperative Stent Study

Randomized study comparing the effect of plastic stents to that of expandable metal stents as pre-operative drainage of the bile ducts prior to Whipple operation.

Self-expandable Metal Stents Versus Multiple Plastic Stents for Palliation of Biliary Obstruction

A randomised clinical trial to compare the clinical efficacy of multiple plastic stents to fully covered self expanding metal stents in the palliation of distal malignant biliary obstruction in patients with irresectable tumours.
