Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is commonly described by its promoters as aligning a company’s activities with the social, economic and environmental expectations of its “stakeholders.” It has become a multi-billion dollar public relations specialty in the business world.
CSR is a commitment to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of our workforce and their families as well as the local community at large.
Business are able to team up with the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in order to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities by volunteering, financial support, and by spreading the word about our foundation. Something as simple doing a dress down day for a $1 for each person wanting to dress down, and giving the proceeds to the NPCF to assist us in funding our core programs.
