Montreal, Canada was aglow in purple early in May 2017, as more than 40 pancreatic cancer organizations representing 20 countries attended the second annual World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition (WPCC) meeting. The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation was represented by Rhonda Hatfield, Founder and National Director, and Cindi Peterson, Director of Operations.
Participants at the meeting learned and shared fundraising and advocacy best practices, listened to personal testimonials from pancreatic cancer survivors and heard about the latest research trends from leading physician-scientists. Over 80 participants from 40 organizations and 20 counties attended the meeting – representing the largest ever-global gathering of pancreatic cancer patient advocacy groups.
More than 450 Mustang owners from Rocky Mountain Mustang clubs convened in Steamboat Springs, Colorado over Father’s Day Weekend in June 2017. Activities included a scenic mountain tour, auto cross (a timed race against the clock), Friday night social, Show n’ Shine Car Show and awards breakfast.
The NPCF “awareness” Mustang took 2nd place in the autocross event.
The 5th annual Horsefeather’s Classic Car Show was held on (Old Stapleton’s) Northfield’s Main Street in August 2017. It featured over 200 Ford-powered cars and trucks from every era. Our NPCF “awareness” Mustang took 2nd place. Congratulations!
